DIGIPASS 261 is an all-in-one device for user authentication and e-signatures. The use of one-time passwords (OTP) at log-on and e-signatures for high-risk transaction validation, effectively combats financial fraud for organizations in need of a cost-efficient solution for massive rollouts.

E-Signature Functionality

To activate DIGIPASS 261 the user will use his Personal Identification Number (PIN). After PIN entry the device will calculate a dynamic or one-time password (OTP). For e-signatures DIGIPASS 261 uses different transaction data, such as the account number and the amount, to generate a unique “signature” code for a particular transaction. Whether the dynamic password is used to log-on to a restricted website or used as an e-signature to sign a financial transaction, banks have greater control over who is trying to log-on or execute a transaction.

Intuitive User Interface and Advanced Design

Its keypad and graphic interface are simple and straightforward in use. The use of DIGIPASS 261 requires no technical training or elaborate user guides.

DIGIPASS 261 uses universally recognized display icons. These provide step-by-step guidance to the end-user and allow him to go one step back or start over from the beginning.

Fully Customizable

DIGIPASS 261 is fully customizable depending on the specific end-user needs. Parameters such as OTP length, PIN length, PIN change, number of PIN trials and the number of data fields to be signed are fully programmable. Furthermore, the devices can be customized with your corporate colors and logo, making the authenticator more recognizable to the end-user. DIGIPASS 261 has a transparent lens that protects your logo and branding from wear and tear.

DIGIPASS 261 is fully interoperable with all members of the DIGIPASS family and works seamlessly with VACMAN® - VASCO’s core authentication technology - IDENTIKEY® server and aXsGUARD® authentication appliances.
