DIGIPASS KEY 1 (DP KEY 1) is an ultraportable solution for strong authentication, secure access and safe transactions. The USB interface eliminates the need to install readers at the client side. Enjoy the benefits of a smart card reader without the expense of additional hardware.

Onboard Key Pair Generation

The chip embedded in the DP KEY 1 is a highly secure data container. The user’s private and public keys are generated on the chip the first time a user requests a certificate. The private key is stored on the chip and can never be exported, making the DP KEY 1 one of the most secure data containers in the world. Non-repudiation of transactions can now be guaranteed.

Usage

A list of options is displayed in a user friendly GUI design with a Windows Explorer look and feel. The user simply selects the requested action and enters a PIN to secure the desktop, authorize a transaction or sign a document.
