As all transaction data are captured by scanning a CrontoSign image, and no transaction details need to be typed in manually on the device. The color display highlights important transaction data, while the touch screen ensures an intuitive user experience.
What You See Is What You Sign
Critical transaction information including payment details are encrypted and automatically presented on the DIGIPASS 880 color display for visual verification, ensuring that the transaction has not been tampered with.
Easy To Deploy
DIGIPASS 880 is ideally suited for large deployments with high security requirements, since it is a non-personalized device that does not need to be manually assigned to a user. DIGIPASS 880 is ready to use out of the box and doesn’t require the installation of additional software or drivers.

How It Works
DIGIPASS 880 utilizes a unique visual challenge contained in a CrontoSign image, offering strong protection against threats as well as an intuitive experience for users:
- The user enters transaction details into online banking application.
- Details of the transaction are encrypted and presented via a CrontoSign image on the user’s computer, mobile phone or tablet.
- The user inserts a smart card and enters PIN on the touch screen.
- After PIN verification, the user “scans” the image with the DIGIPASS 880 built-in camera
- DIGIPASS 880 instantly decrypts the transaction details and presents on the color display for user verification.
- Once verified by the user, a signature is generated on the DIGIPASS 880, which the user enters into online banking application in order to confirm the transaction.
